Chinese force reimbursement of online item theft

While doing research on games in China I came across an article from 2003 where the Chinese government gave someone back items that had been stolen from the person online. As I know that one of the sites (Virtually Blind) that I read frequently deals with Virtual Law I emailed the owner of the blog and sent him the link in case he hadn't seen it.
